We are pleased to announce a Special Issue of the Acceleron Aerospace Journal (AAJ) commemorating the historic Artemis II crewed lunar mission — humanity's return to cislunar space.

This special issue invites review articles on the significance of crewed lunar return and its implications for future missions to Mars and beyond.

Topics of interest include the Artemis program, lunar infrastructure, Moon-to-Mars mission planning, human spaceflight challenges, deep space navigation, and related multidisciplinary space sciences.
